[EPL] 레스터 vs 첼시

Leicester City 2-1 Chelsea

Ever since the top four spot in the Champions League was secured by Chelsea last Sunday, the price for this final day fixture has seen the favourites flipped. In the days since the Leicester City price has begun to get shorter and shorter and I can completely understand why so many are ready to have faith in Brendan Rodgers' side.

For starters Leicester City have been scoring plenty of home goals under Rodgers and they beat Arsenal 3-0 here in their last game at the King Power Stadium. 4 of the 5 fixtures played here since Claude Puel was sacked have also ended in Leicester City wins and they have had plenty of time to prepare for one final big effort on the last day of the season.

Chelsea's motivation has to be questioned after securing a top four spot anyway, but now the players have to come down from the euphoria of making the Europa League Final. Playing 120 minutes and having to go through the drama of the penalty shoot out might have sapped some energy, while Chelsea are likely going to be using veteran Gary Cahill at centre half in what is going to be his final game for the club.

Against the pace of this Leicester City attacking line up I think it could be a tough afternoon for Cahill and his Chelsea team-mates. The Blues have lost half of their last 4 away Premier League games and I think Leicester City is the team to back, although I would suggest going the Asian Handicap route which will return half of the stake in the event of a draw.
